DSAL Withdrawing Fund From PF Individual Accounts

Owners of the Provident Fund Individual Accounts who meet the following criteria could apply to withdraw part or all of the funds from his/her account.

The owner of the Provident Fund Individual Account could only apply to withdraw part or all of the funds from his/her own account once per annum.

Individual account owner who reaches 65 years of age;*:
Individual account owner who is under 65 years of age, when under any one of following situations, may apply for early withdrawal of all or part of the monies registered in his/her account:
a. Needs to meet huge medical expenditure due to serious injury or illness for himself/herself, his/her spouse, any degree of lineal consanguinity or affinity; or
b. Receiving disability pension from Social Security Fund for more than one year;* or
c. Receiving special disability subsidy from Social Welfare Bureau.*

For humanitarian or other duly substantiated reasons, the FSS Administrative Committee may permit the provident fund individual account owner under 65 years of age for cases other than those referred to in preceding paragraph, the early withdrawal of all or part of the monies registered in his/her account

Legal heirs could apply to withdraw funds from the Provident Fund Individual Account of the owner who has passed away.

Note*:
Listed below are owners of the Provident Fund Individual Accounts who are eligible to apply for withdrawal of funds via self-service machines:
I. Individual account owner is under 65 and receiving the Old-age Pension, Disability Pension or Subsidy for Senior Citizens;
II. Individual account owner is under 65 and receiving the Disability Pension for more than one year;
III. Individual account owner is receiving special disability subsidy.

Application Approach:
Submit the documents in person or by a representative

Required Document:
1. Application form for withdrawing funds;
2. Photocopy of the Macao SAR Resident Identity Card (BIR) (Those beneficiaries of the Old-age Pension and the Disability Pension will not be asked to submit a photocopy of his/her Macao SAR Resident Identity Card (BIR), but he/she must present the original copy of the identity card for verification purposes.);
3. A photocopy of the personal MOP bank account book of the Provident Fund Individual Account owner (If Provident Fund Individual Account owner applies to deposit the fund in the accounts of the Old-age Pension, the Disability Pension or the Subsidy for Senior Citizens, he/she will not be asked to submit a photocopy of his/her personal MOP bank account book).

Remark:
** The Provident Fund Individual Account owner could only apply to withdraw part or all of the funds from his/her account once per annum;
** Please check if you have completed the form and signed it. You could submit the form in person or by a representative to the Social Security Fund or other service points;
** List of banks that accept transfers from the Social Security Fund: Bank of China Macau Branch, Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU), Tai Fung Bank, OCBC Wing Hang Bank Limited, Luso International Banking Limited, Banco Comercial de Macau (BCM), Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Macau) Limited (ICBC), Banco Delta Asia, Macau Chinese Bank;
** If the Provident Fund Individual Account owner is considered to be incapacitated, please refer to the procedures for withdrawing funds by the Provident Fund Individual Account owner who is considered to be incapacitated.
