Oral Polio Vaccination Requirement :
1 : According to the latest guidelines of the World Health Organization ( WHO ) all persons residing in Pakistan for over four weeks, including foreign nationals, intending to travel to India mandatorily need to receive either Oral Polio Vaccine( OPV ) or Intravenous Polio Vaccine ( IPV ).
Format of the vaccination certificate is available for download at the website of the High Commission of India
They are also require to furnish original certificate of vaccination, valid for one year, at the Indian immigration post on arrival.
2 : Applicant for Indian visa who have been residing in Pakistan for more than four weeks, are required to furnish original vaccination certificate at the time of visa application. The original certificate shall be returned after inspection and should be carried at the time of travel to India.
