Streamlined Student Visa Processing :

** Under the streamlined student visa processing arrangements, eligible student visa applicants from participating education providers are not assigned an assessment level.

** If you are eligible for streamlined visa processing you will generally have reduced evidentiary requirements, similar to those that apply under Assessment Level 1, regardless of your country of origin.

Eligibility :
You must meet all of the following requirements to be eligible for streamlined student visa processing:
** At the time of making your student visa application, you must have a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)with an education provider participating in the streamlined visa processing arrangements for a

** Advanced diploma
** Bachelor degree
** Masters degree
** Doctoral degree
** Non-award university student exchange program
** Non-award study abroad program.

** If you enrol in a package of courses, all your preliminary courses must be at an education provider participating in the streamlined visa processing arrangements or a nominated educational business partner of that provider.

Note :
** If you combine a non-award university student exchange or study abroad program course with any preliminary course(s)
** you will not be eligible for streamlined visa processing and will be assessed according to the applicable assessment level.

** If you are sponsored by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade or the Australian Department of Defence on a Foreign Affairs or Defence Sector visa (subclass 576), you are not eligible for streamlined visa processing.

Applying under the streamlined student visa processing arrangements :
** You can use Find a Visa for visa application lodgement information specific to your circumstances.
** Streamlined visa processing does not change the online lodgement arrangements currently in place.

** That is, if you do not have access to online lodgement for student visa applications currently, you would not gain access to online lodgement under the SVP arrangements.

Documents to provide with your application :
** If you are eligible for streamlined student visa processing you will generally have reduced evidentiary requirements when applying for a student visa.
