Applying for Readmission :
** If you previously attended The University of Alabama, you may apply for readmission online.
** After creating your login and PIN, select Undergraduate Admissions and complete the undergraduate application.

** Be sure to select the option that indicates you have previously attended.
Before You Begin :
** A credit/debit card is required to pay the non-refundable $15 application fee when you submit your application online.
** You will be asked to create a login on the next page. Remember this login to access your application.
** You may make corrections or changes to your application provided you do not submit the application.
** Once submitted you will not be able to make changes.
** You can check your application status online at any time.
** A valid email address is required. Be aware that secure information concerning your application will be sent to this email address.
** If you lose your login or PIN, this information will be sent to the email address you provided.
** Your session will expire after 20 minutes of inactivity.
** If you have problems with or need assistance with the application, please call 1-800-933-BAMA or 205-348-5666.
** Permanent resident aliens of the United States should apply using the international application.
** Be certain to mail or fax (205-348-9046) a copy of the resident alien card (green card) to the Admissions Office
FAQ for Transfer Students :
Do transfer students at UA attend orientation?
Yes. Orientation sessions for transfer students are required and include registration for the first semester’s classes, as well as seminars on UA policies, procedures, and services. Sessions are offered several times each year. Students receive registration materials upon admission. See the Bama Bound website for more information.
Does the University have a residency requirement for transfer students?
Each academic department determines the number of hours that must be completed at The University of Alabama in order to receive a degree from UA.
If I attend The University of Alabama, what kind of campus resources are available?
** UA’s Career Center works with students to help them find the careers they want by providing aptitude/personality tests, resume services, and on-campus interviews.
** The Office of Disability Services provides academic accommodations for students who submit appropriate documentation of their physical or learning disability.
** The Center for Academic Success offers tutoring, study skills workshops, and supplemental instruction sessions for any student who would like to take advantage of additional academic resources to enhance their learning opportunities while at the university.
How can I determine which credits will transfer from my current institution to The University of Alabama?
** If you are transferring from an Alabama community college, you can use the STARS guide to map out your curriculum as well as to view course equivalencies.
** If you are transferring from a 4-year institution or an out-of-state community college, you can view a list of course equivalencies on the University Registrar’s website.
