Get An Older Person’s Bus Pass :

** Get an older person’s bus pass for free.
** It only takes about 10 minutes to apply online.

You’ll need :
** a passport photo
** digital or scanned photo on your computer
** an email address that hasn’t been used to apply for a bus pass before
** You must live in the Bristol City Council area.
** You must be up to 30 days away from State Pension age.
** We check the date you can apply on the form.
** Only new applications can get a bus pass online.

You can use your bus pass:
** on journeys starting within Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire, Monday to Friday from 9am to 4am and anytime Saturday, Sunday or public holidays.
** if you are blind or partially sighted you can use your bus pass for free travel at anytime on journeys starting and finishing in Bristol.
** on Park and Ride services, on all Bristol community transport services and the Bristol International Airport Flyer
** on local buses starting anywhere else in England, Monday to Friday 9:30am to 11pm and anytime Saturday, Sunday or public holidays.

You can’t use your bus pass on :
** long distance coach services
** trains
** open top city tours

Change details on your bus pass :
** Let us know if your bus pass needs to be updated with your new name or address.

Change of address :
You’ll need :
** to still live in the Bristol City Council area (your sole or primary residence)
** to tell us if you’re named on your council tax bill so that we can check your address or
** send us proof of your new address for example a copy of a bank statement or utility bill dated within the last three months

Change of name :
** To change your name on your bus pass you’ll need to get a replacement.
** There is a charge of £7.10 (£7.30 for credit cards).
** Apply and pay online by debit or credit card

Replacement bus pass :
** Replace a lost, damaged or stolen bus pass.
** There are currently delays in renewing bus passes
** Renewals for cards expiring in July will be sent out on 25 July and should arrive before your card expires.
** We’re sorry for any inconvenience.

Apply for a replacement bus pass, Travelcard :
** You don’t need to renew your bus pass if your current one is expiring soon. We’ll send your new one in the post at least two weeks before the other one runs out.

Lost, damaged or change of name :
** If you’ve lost or damaged your bus pass, or you need to change your name, you can order and pay for a new one online. We accept all debit or credit cards.

Cost :
** A replacement bus pass is £7.10 with a debit card, and £7.30 with a credit card.

Stolen bus pass :
** You’ll need to provide a Crime Reference Number.
Cost :
** It’s free to replace your bus pass if it has been stolen.
