Step 1 :
** Complete the online registration form. Sign, print then take the form to a Westpac branch.

Here are some handy tips that will help you complete the form :
** At least one person has to be nominated to act as an Administrator
** Nominate a security device for the Administrator
** You will need a Westpac bank account for any fees associated with Westpac Live.

Tip :
** If you choose SecurID® token as the security device for your Administrator, ensure they call 1300 655 505 to link the token before they sign into Westpac Live.

Step 2 :
** You are nearly there.
On first sign in, the Administrator will have to :
** Setup account and access levels for your staff within User administration
** activate
** Establish who is required to approve payments and how much they can spend per day.
** For instructions on how to do this visit the user Administration guide.

Tip :
** Your staff will only be able to access online banking once your Administrator sets up their access.

Setting-up Westpac Live for your Business :
** Once a business has registered for Online Banking, there are some important steps an Administrator has to take to set-up Westpac Live.
Step 1 : Activate your Security device.
Step 2 : Check your Account access.
Step 3 : Establish your banking features.
Step 4 : Add Users and set-up their access.
Step 5 : Decide if you require third party accounts.

How to make changes to my business network :
** Manage network details such as contact name, address, email address, business daily limit and billing account
** Manage accounts and features available in the business network
** Manage the number of approvals required for Administration tasks
** Manage the number of approvals required for a task e.g. Pay Anyone, BPAY etc.

** Add, amend or remove Users
** Manage User access to accounts and features
** Manage User daily payment limit
** Suspend and unsuspend a User
** Manage User access to SecurID tokens and Westpac Protect SMS Code
** Approve Administration tasks.

Note :
** You will need to complete the appropriate form – then print, have the form signed and return the original signed form to your nearest branch or business banker.

FAQ :
What is Business Day Limit?
The Business Daily Limit is the maximum payment amount that can be approved per day across all the users in your business network. Transfers between your accounts and most BPAY payments do not count towards your Daily Limit.The Business Daily Limit can be updated by the business Administrator.

A Users daily payment limit is set to zero Can they submit any payments?
When a user’s daily payment limit is set to zero, payments are limited to making transfers between linked accounts, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and some BPAY® billers. If other payments such as Pay Anyone payments are required, the users’ daily payment limit can be changed by an Administrator.

How do I change user limits in Westpac Live?
Online Banking offers the following security devices for additional safeguard against fraud:
** Westpac Protect™ SMS Code uses your mobile phone to confirm certain transactions via text message when banking online

** SecurID® token is a small, portable device that generates a digital security code, which you use to authorise certain transactions.

** These security devices seek to ensure that third parties are unable to authorise fraudulent transactions.
