e-Pelanggan Service/ e-Consumer Service:

The implementation of this online Meet-the-Customer Day Programme is based on the open-day concept through the setting up of a special service counter.

2. How do I apply for my visa to go overseas?
Visas to travel overseas are issued by the relevant Foreign Missions. The addresses and contact numbers of the Foreign Missions accredited to Malaysia can be obtained from “Foreign Missions in Malaysia”.

From time to time positions are available for Locally Recruited Staff at Malaysian Missions overseas. These positions are open to persons resident in the country where the Malaysian Mission is located. Please refer to websites of Malaysian Missions overseas or overseas papers for openings.

7. How do I apply for work in Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia?
The majority of positions under Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia are handled by the Public Services Commission Malaysia and the Public Services Department Malaysia. However the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia conducts walk in interviews from time to time.

8. How do I register my marriage overseas?
Non-Muslim marriage can be registered at the Malaysian Mission provided that one or both of the couple is a Malaysian citizen. Registration of marriage must be made within the period of six (6) months after the marriage ceremony.

For the marriage of Muslim couples (where one/both of the couple is a Malaysian citizen) that is done abroad, it needs to be registered at the religious office in respective states once back in Malaysia.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE SYARIAH LAWS AND REQUIREMENTS OF RESPECTIVE STATES TO REGISTER MUSLIM MARRIAGES OVERSEAS BEFORE GETTING MARRIED OVERSEAS.
