Over time, MyTax will replace the majority of our current e-services. Services relating to the income taxation of individuals and corporations, among others, will be transferred to MyTax at a later stage. It is not possible to file annual information returns or to pay transfer tax in MyTax.
For self-assessed taxes and gift tax you can also
** read tax decisions
** respond to information requests
** check bank details for payments and pay directly online.
MyTax displays :
** The current balance
** The latest tax return information for self-assessed taxes (starting from 2012)
** The refund time and limit that you have defined in Tax Account Online and the preferred delivery method for statements
** Transactions for the tax period (starting from 2012)
The following information is not transferred from Tax Account Online to MyTax:
** Tax return archives
** Tax Account statements
Transactions are displayed in a different way
** in MyTax, the main transaction details are displayed in the listing of the tax period’s transactions
The Tax Account statement will be replaced by a summary
MyTax summary :
** Includes details on the transactions within a tax period
** Is created on the last day of each month
** May be sent by post at the taxpayer’s request
** The summary is delivered in the same way as the Tax Account statement has been delivered.
additionally, MyTax statements may also show the following :
** Information on missing returns,
** Payment reminders,
** Decision on a late-filing penalty,
** Notice on entry of tax debts into the Tax Debt Register, on publication of tax debts, or on transfer of debt to enforcement
MyTax shows some of the letters sent to the taxpayer by post
** MyTax shows copies of the letters sent to the taxpayer e.g. about self-assessed taxes, registrations and payments. It also shows some older letters from 2016.
** All of them are first shown “unread” – even the ones you may already have dealt with in 2016. When you open a letter in MyTax, it stops being listed as “unread”.
