Paying online allows you to access your payment history instantly whenever you want from wherever you are 24/7. Make payments from anywhere, your home or office or even on the go. With BOB online bill payment, you can pay those important scheduled bills anytime.
Bank of The Bahamas Limited, (BOB), a member of the Clearing Bank Association (CBA) provides bill collection services to our customers for remittance to the Government of The Bahamas, for the following five (5) types of Government Payments
1. Bahamas Customs – Duties CUSTOMSDUTY
2. Bahamas Customs – VAT Imports CUSTOMSVAT
3. Real Property Taxes REALPROPTAX
4. Business Licence BUSLIC
5. VAT VAT
BOB accepts these payments both in-branch at any of our and 13 branch locations, and via our online banking platform. Government Payments are remitted next business day.

The instructions on the following pages are provided for your guidance should you choose to make your Government Payments online.
Procedure :
1. Login to BOB’s Online Banking service via the login portal at Official Website using your secret credentials.
2. Once you access the online banking site, select the “Messages” menu option (See Figure 1 below).
3. When the “Messages” window appears, use this option to complete the details of your request.
4. Make selections as follows to enter your payment request :
a. At the Subject :, Select “Other”
b. At the Message entry window, provide the details of the payment. Provide the following details to ensure complete information for your payment request.
i. 9-digit TIN number
ii. Account number to debit
iii. Government Payment type (5 options – see Page 1 for list)
iv. For Real Property Tax and Business Licence payments, also provide your Assessment Number and Business License Number, respectively
v. Amount for each payment type, to debit from Account
c. Do not use the -ENTER- key while typing your request. You will receive an error message alerting you of this concern.
d. Click the <Submit> button once you have completed the details of your request
5. Once your request is successfully submitted, it will appear in your Request-Bin with the submitted Date, Time, Online Reference Number and with a status of “Pending”.
6. You may review the request for accuracy (and Delete it if it is not correct)
7. Should there be any concerns, our Online Banking (OB) Administrator will contact you for clarifications
8. Once your payment request is completed the Online Banking Administrator will update the Request ticket as “Completed”.
