E-Payment Process :
1. Select a filing ID in the filing cart
2. Click ‘Make Payment’ button to initiate online payment process

3. Confirmation dialog box will be appeared before eFiling portal redirect user to e-Payment web site. Click ‘Yes’ to proceed.
4. A second pop-up screen will be appeared with additional details about the payment. Click ‘Proceed’ button to confirm.
5. User will be redirected to e-Payment web site while the eFiling main page will waiting for payment confirmation. User will need to key in their credit card number and CVV code before click on ‘Next’ button to proceed for payment.
6. Click ‘Pay’ to proceed
7. Payment done with receipt number provided by e-Payment web site.
8.1. Upon successful payment, eFiling will generate an official receipt when user click ‘Return to Merchant Site’
8.2. If the transaction was rejected by e-Payment system or payment transaction was cancelled by user; the payment failure message will be displayed.
Electronic Payment service :
The Judiciary is pleased to inform that electronic payments can now be made for filings through the Electronic Filing System (EFS) beginning 7th March 2016. For further information, please mouse over “About e-Filing” at the top of the page and click “Paying filing fee via e-Payment service”.
What is the e-Filing Portal?
The e-Filing Portal is an initiative of the Brunei Judiciary and has been designed to serve as a one-stop portal for the legal community to gain access to all its needs ranging from registration of cases, filing of case documents, retrieval of service document right down to searching of case files and information including case schedules.
Previously lawyers have to call the registrar for the status of their case filing. Now the e-Filing portal will send notification of any case filing status to the lawyers’ email immediately upon successful registration in the e-Filing System.
Why e-Filing?
e-Filing developed following from the need to improve efficiency both for the legal community and also the judiciary.

** Allows counsel to file court document from anywhere; without queuing.
e-Filing Equipment Requirements :
Hardware :
1. PC with Windows XP and Above with at least 2GB RAM
2. Printer
3. Scanner (which can produce PDF file compatible with e-Filing System)
Software :
1. Microsoft Word (Version 2010 Recommended). Optional
2. Mozilla Firefox. Download Here
3. Adobe Acrobat Reader V. 8 or Higher. Download Here
4. Internet Service (Eg: TelBru, TIME) with at least 2 Mbps [depend on office network utilization]
5. JAVA 1.6.0_21 and above.
Note: These should be installed in the same order as they appear.
