IELTS Registration :
IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. The test measures your ability to communicate in English across all four language skills : listening, reading, writing and speaking, and is designed for people who wish to study or work where English is the language of communication
The fee for IELTS test is VND 3.600.000 (equivalent to US$ 170).

1. A completed candidate application form (available from ELI reception or download from the link given below.
2. A photocopy of the personal details of your ID/passport
3. Payment, to be made at the ELI in cash, or via bank transfer.

Notes :
Notarized copies of national ID or passport and bank transfer document are required for applications sent by post. Only when all application procedures are fully completed will the application be processed.
Applications close 4 days prior to the test date. You are advised to register early because there are limited number of places per test.

Confirmation :
A letter of confirmation with details of test date, time, venue and important instructions for the test date will be sent to candidates 3 days prior to the test date.
Test Day :
Candidates must be in the test room before 8.30 a.m. Identity will be checked and candidates will be told their candidate number and their interview time. Candidates must bring their National Identity Card or passport as a means of identification or they will NOT be permitted to sit the test. This ID must be the same with the one indicated in the Application Form. Interviews may be on the afternoon of the test, or on the following day. Do not bring valuable items to the test. The only items allowed in the test room are your passport, wooden lead pencils, sharpeners, erasers, and water in a CLEAR bottle.

Results :
The Test Report Form (TRF) will usually be available for collection from ELI reception 13 days after the test, after 2.00 p.m. Please inform the Enrolment Officers if you want your TRF to be posted to you. Candidates could have access to online IELTS test results by going to ELI website at www.elidanang.edu.vn at ‘Preview your test results’ session.
Results will not be given by fax, email or over the phone. Candidates will only receive ONE TRF. However, candidates can request additional TRF’s to be sent to Recognising Organisations. A handling fee of VND 100,000 (equivalent to $5.00) per additional request (for one or more TRF) plus the cost of registered postage or the courier costs for each additional TRF will be applied.
Identity requirements :
Candidates must provide proof of their identity (e.g. national identity card or passport) at registration, every examination session, and when collecting the TRF. This ID must show candidate’s full name in English lettering and contain a number, a signature, a date of birth and a photograph.
On the Application Form, candidates must indicate which ID document you will bring on the test day, and the number of this document. On the test date, make sure you bring the same evidence of identity as the number entered on the application form. Candidates taking the test outside their own country must present a passport.
Test fee :
Payment can be made in cash, by credit card, or bank transfer.
Refund of test fee :
Upon paying the test fee, two copies of the receipt will be issued, one for you and one to be included in your application form. If you are absent on the test date, you will forfeit your full test fee. Only if prior notice of candidate’s health conditions and medical documents are provided within five working days of the test, the full fee may be refunded minus 25% of administrative fee.
Cancellation :
If you choose to cancel your registration more than five weeks prior to test date, you will receive a refund of full fee minus 25% of administrative fee. If you choose to cancel your registration within five weeks prior to the test dates, you will receive no refund.
Test Date Transfer :
You can transfer to another test date if you notify the test centre more than 5 weeks prior to your chosen test date. If you wish to transfer test dates within five weeks prior to test date will received no refund unless medical documents are provided. A 25% of administrative fee will be deducted from your test fee.
Enquiry on Results :
If you are unhappy with your result, you may apply for an enquiry on results (EOR), which means that your test papers are remarked. This must be requested within six weeks of the test date. The fee for this is VND 1.900.000 (equivalent to AUD 85). If your score improves, the re-mark fee will be refunded.
