If you are new to this system please read the admission guidebook for clarification of what is CAS and to get your self familiar with the pre request for the application for admission to the academic year 2014/2015.

What is the Eligibility?

Minimum Entry Requirements :
Applicants holding diploma qualifications who aspire to be admitted into higher education institutions (both public and private) for academic year 2014/2015, should meet the following minimum entry requirements

For the Diploma applicants the minimum entry qualification is at least Four O level passes (D’s and above) or NVA level III with less than four O level passes or equivalent foreign qualifications as established by either NECTA or VETA; AND

(i) Holder of Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) with at least GPA of 2.7; or
(ii) Holders of Full Technician Certificate (FTC) with at least points average of 2.7 (where A=5, B=4,C=3 and D=2 points for Old Grading System); or and
(iii) Holders of Diploma in Teacher Education with an average of ‘C’ grade; or

(iv)Holders of Health related awards such as Clinical Medicine and others with average of ‘B’ grade; or

(v)Holders of Credit class diploma for classified diplomas and certificates in terms of ‘distinctions, credit or pass’ or
Holders of Lower Second Class diploma for classified nonNTA diplomas; or

(vi)Average of ‘B’ grade or lower second class in recognised preentry programme offered by technical institutions accredited by NACTE for both Alevel and Diploma holders with lower than minimum entry requirements.

Application for academic year 2014/2015 deadline is 06/09/2014. All applicants are required to process their applications before deadline

What is the Application Fee?

Application fee for this year is Tshs 50,000/= (Fifty thousand only) for all applicants, which shall be paid through MPESA using the following menu

** (*)Use the confirmation code at the beginning of the message to enter on payment details text box (BA54KP4321).
** All applicants are advised to keep in safe place their confirmation number for MPESA payment for future reference and payment confirmation.

** Applicants are advised to read carefully the admission requirements of each programme they anticipate to apply in the guidebook before finalizing the application process in order to avoid problems that may arise due to failure to follow appropriate instructions.
