How to Get a Marriage License in Quezon City?
A marriage license is a document that authorizes a person and his/her soon to be spouse to marry anywhere in the Philippines. It needs to be secured before getting married.

Process:
1. Present identification to the City Civil Registry Department clerk
2. Pay the following fees at the City Treasurer’s Office cashier
** Marriage License application form – P50.00
** Filling fee – P100.00
** Marriage License – P100.00
3. Submit all required documents
4. If applicable, applicants need to attend Family Planning Seminar (Quezon City Health Department) and Guidance Counseling & Responsible Parenthood (Social Services Development Department) and submit Certificate/s before the release of marriage license
5. Claim the marriage license at the City Civil Registry Department.
Requirements of Quezon City Marriage License
** Marriageable age: 18 years old (Male / Female)
** Marriage License Application Form
** Identification Card, bearing applicant’s residential address
** Birth or Baptismal Certificates of both applicants
** Community Tax Certificate (Cedula)
** One (1) ID photo of both applicants
If Applicable:
** Municipal Form No. 92 (Consent of Marriage of a Person Under Age)
** Municipal Form No. 7 (Sworn Statement that Advice of Parents or Guardian has been asked)
** Municipal Form No. 8 (Advice upon Intended Marriage)
** Certificate of Family Planning (Quezon City Health Department)
** Certificate of Marriage Counseling (Social Services Development Department)
For Foreigners:
** Photocopy of valid passport (indicating the date of arrival)
** Certificate of Legal Capacity to Marry issued by their respective diplomatic or consular officials.
If Divorced:
** Copy of final decree or absolute divorce
** Certificate of Family Planning and Marriage Counseling & Responsible Parenthood
Steps:
1. Present your IDs and other requirements to the issuing clerk at Counter 11 of the CCRD. The clerk will determine your residency and assess your documents.
2. Pay the required fees.
3. Receive your Marriage License. Your license will be released after 11 working days. If the release date falls on a holiday, you can claim it on the next working day.
Note:
** You can apply for a marriage license even if you are not a resident of Quezon City, as long as your wedding will be held within the city.
** The marriage license is valid for 120 days from the date of issuance.
** You need to present your marriage license to the solemnizing officer during your wedding ceremony.
