SAGIA Renewal of License for Liquidation Purpose

​The following license categories can be renewed for liquidation purposes :

** Licenses for which voluntary cancellation applications are submitted.
** Licenses for which a “non-renewable” decision has been issued.
** Licenses for which a “punitive decision” has been issued.
** Licenses for which a “withdrawal decision” has been issued.

Service Documents

** ​A letter from the firm or decision of the shareholders requesting for renewal for liquidation purpose with justifications, authenticated by the Chamber of Commerce.
** Any proof indicating authority of the applicant.
** Copy of the cancellation decision / non-renewal / withdrawal of license issued to the firm.

** Copy of the Commercial Registration.
** Copy of the Social Insurance (GOSI) certificate.
** Copy of the Zakat and Income Tax Certificate.
** Copy of the contracts and obligations of the firm, including a letter illustrating schedules, durations of contracts, obligations, and available workers.

Rules & Restriction

** ​Duration of renewal for liquidation purpose is one (1) year for free-of-charge, and fees for subsequent years in accordance with SAGIA’s decision.
** The firm is exempted from outstanding fee for the previous years during renewal of license “for liquidation purpose”.

** Cancellation decision / non-renewal / withdrawal of license issued to the firm must be received before submission of application.
** The activity is deleted from the license and the following phrase is affixed (license renewed for liquidation purpose and shall not be used by the firm for any new commercial obligations or for contracts or tender purposes).

Service Mechanism

** ​Application is submitted to the Business Center at SAGIA.
** Application is reviewed by the Business Center at SAGIA, the special services unified form is prepared (for SAGIA internal use only) as per Form No. (13.02) of this manual in order to verify the documents submitted through the system.
** Application is referred to the Head of the Sector for decision.
** The renewed license is issued and dispatched through mail.
