SAGIA Apply for License Cancellation
This service is for all the firms that seek a decision for a voluntary cancellation of license. Such firms will have revoked all the records, licenses and certificates that are connected with such license at SAGIA.

Service Documents
** An authenticated letter printed on the firm’s letterhead requesting cancellation (for establishments), or decision of the shareholders for liquidation and cancellation (for companies and branches of foreign companies), authenticated by the Chamber of Commerce.
** Letter of appointment of a chartered liquidator published in an official gazette.
** Proof of revoking the Commercial Registration.
** Ending the firm’s activities with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI).
** Proof of closing the firm’s file with the Zakat and Income Department.
** Proof of final settlement of workers at the Ministry of Labor or at the Recruitment Department, if the firm has domestic workers.
** Printout from the Passport Department indicating absence of workers at the firm at the actual date of visit.
** Cancellation of municipality permit, (Notification of cancellation of activities).
** Announcements indicating the investor’s intent to cancel the firm’s investment license, published in two local newspapers. Such adverts shall contain a request to whoever has financial claims with the firm to come forward within the period specified in the announcements, not later than a month from the date of the adverts.
** Letter from the department supervising over the activities approving cancellation of the license.
** Cancellation of the firm’s subscription with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
** Letter from the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) indicating that the firm has no loans with the Fund (as for industrial firms)
Rules & Restriction
** Submission of original of the investment license.
Service Mechanism
** Application is submitted on the website – E- services portal.
** Application is reviewed by the Business Center at SAGIA to verify the documents submitted.
** Application is referred to Head of the Investment Services upon completion of application.
** Application is referred to the Governor for decision.
Voluntary License Cancellation Notification
This service is for all firms that want to voluntarily rescind their licenses, and require supporting letters from the relevant government departments or agencies to facilitate finalizing their liquidation procedures.
Required Documents :
** An authenticated letter printed on the firm’s letterhead requesting cancellation (for establishments), or decision of the shareholders for liquidation and cancellation (for companies and branches of foreign companies), authenticated by the Chamber of Commerce.
** Letter of appointment of a chartered liquidator for the companies, authenticated by the Chamber of Commerce.
** Copy of the investment license.
** Copy of the Commercial Registration (CR).
Fees : Two hundred (200) Riyals in absence of an annual subscription.
