Philippine Embassy Passport Renewal

Follow the below steps to apply for Passport Renewal,

Step 1 : Prepare the following requirements:
** Original passport;
** One (1) photocopy of the passport data page;

** Duly accomplished ePassport application form. The form is available at official website or from our doorman before entering the Consular Section. Remember to completely fill out / accomplish the passport application form;

** For married women who wish to change the entry in their passports FROM MAIDEN NAME TO MARRIED : Marriage Contract (MC) in Security Paper issued by NSO or Certified True Copy issued by the Local Civil Registrar duly authenticated by NSO, and authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila.

If married in the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi, present the Report of Marriage issued by the Philippine Embassy.

If married outside the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi but within the UAE, report of marriage is required, please see procedures forReport of Marriage (not required for married women whose passports already reflect their married name).
** Passport fee of 240 AED.

Step 2 : Proceed to the Embassy to schedule an appointment. Return on your chosen appointment date.
Step 3 : Get a number from queuing officer at the entrance of the Consular Section.
Step 4 : Wait for your number to be called.
Step 5 : Proceed to processing or encoding section and picture-taking.

Step 6 : Check the accuracy or correctness of the printout of your passport enrollment application certificate. This will be how your data will appear on your passport.

Sign the sheet to signify that you have checked the data and all are correct. Should there be an error and you have signed this printout, you will be charged for the subsequent renewal of your passport to correct the error.

Step 7 : Pay the passport fee at the cashier and leave the passport enrollment application certificate with the cashier before leaving the Embassy on the same day. Otherwise, your passport will not be processed. You will also be given a claim stub for when you pick up your passport.

Processing Time

Step 8 : Wait for 30-60 days to claim your passport. Do not forget to bring your old passport for cancellation and your claim stub.

Passports can only be released to the applicant, unless the applicant is a minor, in which case the passport can be released to either parent upon presentation of identification.

Note :
Unclaimed passports beyond six (6) months will be sent back to the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila for proper disposal.
