Work Permit Renewal For Employers :

Through this service, employers can submit a request for renewing the employee work permit before it expires. In case the employee has dependents, their permits will be renewed simultaneously.

Process Description :
** Visit one of the accredited banks to apply for the permit renewal, or click here to apply for the service through the LMRA’s EMS system.
** If applied through the EMS system, fill in the required fields and pay the fees online. Your information and request will be validated immediately after the submission. If, everything is as per the regulations, your permit will be printed on the same day.
** Take the printed permit to the Immigration office to get the RP sticker.

Special Conditions :
** The applicant must be registered in the system as an authorised or responsible person with the authority on the respective CR or Unit.
** The employee must be present in the Kingdom at the time of submission and processing of the renewal application.
** The permit should be renewed before its expiry, otherwise, it cannot be renewed.
** Permits can be renewed for 6 months, 1 year or 2 years as per the business owner request, with the payment of (BD 50 for 6 months, BD 100 for 1 year permit and BD 200 for 2 years permit.)
** Dependents permits fees are BD 90 for renewal regardless of the primary expatriate work permit period.
** Renewal for 2 years can be done up to 6 months before the expiry date.
** Renewal for 1 year can be done up to 3 months before the expiry date.
** Renewal for 6 months can be done up to 30 days before the expiry date.

The E- support system can be used by employers to check and follow up on the following :
** General offences and the process to clear them.
** Bahranization calculator breakdown and percentage.

** Rejected or failed termination applications.
** Renewal/ mobility rejected by GDNPR application.
** Submitted application, sent back and rejection reasons. (all types of applications)

How to login to the E-support system?
** Visit the following link Clients E-support Center.
** In the Username box, please enter your CPR number. In the Password box, please enter the same password used for the EMS system.

How to submit a new application through the e-support system?
** Click on the “Submit new application” icon.
** Choose the concerned department.
** Click on “Next”.

** Enter the relevant information, depending on your request, and sufficient application details.
** Upload the required documents.

** You may upload more than one document if necessary; the capacity of each file should not be more than 256 KB.
** Click on “Send”.

How can I follow up on a submitted application through the e-support system?
To follow up on any applications submitted through the e-support system, please follow these steps :
** Login to the e-support system.
** Click on “View submitted applications” icon.
** Click on the application subject you would like to follow up on.

In case the application has been resolved and you are not pleased with the resolution, you may re-open the application through posting a reply by clicking on “Post Reply” icon.

If the application has been resolved and you are pleased with the resolution, you may rate your application resolution through the rating application service provided by e-support system.
