Companies and individuals who wish to start an industrial project in Qatar must first apply for an Industrial License through the Ministry of Energy and Industry. A preliminary environmental assessment is also required for project approval.

Application Process :
Follow these steps to apply for a new Industrial License :
** Fill out the license application form. The applicant along with his/her legal representative must sign on the bottom of every page.
** Provide all required documents, including a preliminary environmental assessment, copies of IDs from all owners and investors, land rental contract, etc.
** Submit the application to the Licensing and Industrial Control Section at the Ministry of Energy and Industry’s Department of Industrial Development.
** Pay appropriate fees.
