PICA Apply & Renew Jamaican Adult Passport
First Time Adult Passport :
You are required to obtain and complete an application form.
Related : Passport Immigration & Citizenship Agency Passport Application Status Check Jamaica : www.statusin.org/4581.html
Along with your application form you will be required to submit the following documents :
** Birth Certificate/Adoption Certificate or Jamaican Citizenship Certificate
** Two (2) identical Photographs ( NB// : one photograph must be certified by the same certifying official who certified your application)
** A valid Government issued Photo Identification (Example : Drivers Licence, Voter Identification).
** Proof of name change if name has been changed (Marriage Certificate, Deed poll, Divorce Decree, Court Order)
** Processing Fees

Renewing Adult Passport
You are required to obtain and complete an application form.
Along with your application form you will be required to submit the following documents :
** Current Passport
** Birth Certificate/Adoption Certificate or Jamaican Citizenship Certificate
** Two (2) identical Photographs ( NB// : one photograph must be certified by the same certifying official who certified your application)
** Proof of name Change if name has been changed (Marriage Certificate, Deed poll, Divorce Decree, Court Order)
** Processing Fees
Replacing a Lost,Stolen or Damaged Adult Passport :
Your will be required to obtain and present a police report for the replacement of your lost/stolen or damaged passport.
You will be required to submit the following documents :
** Completed application form
** The official police report
** Birth Certificate/Adoption Certificate or Jamaican Citizenship Certificate
** Two (2) identical Photographs ( NB// : one photograph must be certified by the same certifying official who certified your application)
** A valid Government issued Photo Identification (Example : Drivers Licence, Voter Identification).
** Proof of name change if name has been changed (Marriage Certificate, Deed poll, Divorce Decree, Court Order)
Applying For An Adult Passport While Overseas :
If you are applying from overseas please have the following documents ready and then contact the nearest Jamaican Consulate/Mission for the necessary fees and procedures to be followed on submitting your passport application.

** Birth Certificate/Adoption Certificate or Jamaican Citizenship Certificate
** Two (2) identical Photographs ( NB// : one photograph must be certified by the same certifying official who certified the application)

Expedited Services :
Express passport services, three day and next day, are available only at PICA’s Head Quarters located at 25 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 10, Jamaica at an additional cost.

Validity :
The Jamaican passport is valid for ten years for an adult and five years for children 17 years and under.
I travel extensively with my Jamaican passport which requires a visa for so my countries I visit. Very quickly my pages are all used up. Why is it not possible to obtain a passport with more pages and why am I penalized each time I exhaust my pages and have to reapply for a new passport. I don’t think this is how you encourage your citizens to travel. Also getting the passport application done overseas is not an easy process especially in south east Asia. It took my daughter 6 months of back and forth because a signature on the form didn’t match. In the end I did it for her and used my signature. Hello Jamaica, have you heard of BIOMETRICS? During my 25 years of travelling, I’ve never had to sign my signature to enter or exit a country. And I’ve been to some really basic airport immigrations.
JAMAICA PASSPORT FORM AND THE RENEWAL FORM ARE THE SAME?
I would like to know if it is possible to know the number of a passport that expired in the 1990’s . I need this for immigration application in USA.
How do I get an application form to fill in to renew my passport which expire in a coupe of months. I live in KINGSTON.
