Imprest Management System (IMS) :

System foe management of imprest and loans requests. The system allows capturing details for imprest and loan taken in all IHI branches.

The Report modules provide infomation of the amount of imprests (retired or unretired) for selected groupings e.g. by staff, project, period etc

Revenue Management System (RMS) :
Application for management of income generation and budgeting for different internal revenue units. The application allows interaction between revenue accountants, units leaders and project leaders for approval of different expenditures and management of pre-deifned services costs

Salary Calculator :
The salary calculator allows defining salary schemes and calculating salary amounts for scientists and non-scientists within IHI. The inclusion of a section for defining taxation rates and other salary related allowances/charges makes it possible for the export module of the application to export a salary profile (gross amount, taxes, rent allowance, payroll cost) in MS Word and MS Excel formats

IRB Management Application :
Application for management of applications details for IRB protocols and IRB office activities. The application keeps records of all the protocols and attachments of different certicifiates for quick referencing in the future and provide reports per protocols types, periods, themes etc

Portfolio Management System :
Application for management information about different research studies in IHI. This includes things like studies objectives, milestones, publications and details about project investigators

Quick Fact about Ifakara Health Institute :
Ifakara Health Institute owes its name to the original site in Ifakara Town, Morogoro Region. This remains the registered office of IHI. There is now a co-ordination office in Dar es Salaam, where the Directors’ offices are located. IHI has additional sites in Bagamoyo and Rufiji.
