Economic Diversification Drive Certificate :

EDD certificate is issued to local manufacturers and service providers. It is used to categorize businesses such that they benefit from price preferential margins during tender evaluation.

To register for EDD certification, manufacturers and service providers should complete application forms in duplicate and attach the following supporting documents :
** Certified copy of most recent financial statements (Balance Sheet, income statement / Trading and Profit and Loss Account, Cash Flow statement). New enterprises are allowed to submit projected financial statements provided the enterprise has been in operation for less than a year.
** Certified copy of current valid relevant licence or registration certificate from a competent authority, (for manufacturing/industrial license, attach the copy of the receipt for annual fee).
** Certified copy of registration of business name and/or incorporation certificate issued by the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, (For new EDD applicants only).
** Certified copy of Tax Clearance certificate
