1. Master and Doctoral Scholarship :

Overview :
Scholarship for Indonesian (BPI) Master and Doctoral Program is a scholarship program funded by the Indonesian government through the use of National Education Development Fund (DPPN) and managed by LPDP to finance further studies at master or doctoral degree programs in universities inside and outside the country .

Applicable for Indonesian citizen.

This scholarship aims to support the availability of human resources in Indonesia are educated and qualified and have high leadership skills and has a vision of the future of the nation as powerful as the future leaders of Indonesia. LPDP commitment is realized through the provision of financial assistance in the form of scholarships to the community for further studies at the master’s or doctoral degree programs in leading universities both at home and abroad for qualified LPDP.

Target applicants BPI Master and Doctoral Program is a citizen of Indonesia (WNI) who have superior academic ability and strong leadership skills and desire to carry out further studies at the master’s or doctoral degree programs at colleges LPDP goals both on the same disciplines as well as different the field of science in education before.

Target areas of science BPI Master and Doctoral Program, according to priorities, are as follows :
1. fields of engineering,
2. fields of science,
3. agriculture,
4. medicine / health,
5. in accounting / finance,
6. field of law,
7. the field of religion,
8. social field,
9. economics,
10. field of culture / language,
11. other fields.

Applicant Requirements :
BPI requirements for applicants for master or doctoral degree program is described in general terms and specific terms below.

2. General Requirements :

Applicants scholarships for further studies at master and doctoral programs are those that meet the following requirements :
b. have completed an undergraduate program of study or master degree of :
1) universities in the country that has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), or
2) college official in the country, or
3) universities abroad who have registered with the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia,

c. have a spirit of leadership, integrity, idealism and nationalism,
d. active in social activities,

e. willing to sign an affidavit stating that the applicant :
1) not currently receiving / will receive scholarships from other sources,
2) never / will be involved in activities / actions that violate the law,
3) never / will be involved in activities / actions that violate the code of ethics Academic,
4) is always devoted to the interests of the Indonesian people,
5) always faithful to the Republic of Indonesia,
6) be able to comply with the provisions set forth LPDP scholarship,

f. have to get permission from the boss at work,
g. has received a recommendation from community leaders to those who have / are not working, or a recommendation from the supervisor at work,
h. have and choose an appropriate scientific field with the scientific field that is being targeted LPDP,
i. choose courses and universities in accordance with the provisions LPDP,
j. write an essay with the theme “My role for Indonesia” and “Biggest Success In My Life”.

3. Special Requirements :

Applicants scholarships for further study master degree and doctoral programs are those that meet the following conditions.

For master degree scholarship applicants :
1) The maximum age at the time of selection is 35 (thirty five) years,
2) have completed a program of study at undergraduate / graduate applied,
3) have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a scale of 4 minimum, or GPA equivalent to other scales,
4) able to complete the master’s study program according the study period not less than two (2) years,
5) official documents of evidence to published English language acquisition by ETS (www.ets.org) or IELTS (www.ielts.org) is still valid or another foreign language determined LPDP

a) To study master programs in the country, minimum score :
TOEFL ITP ® 500/iBT ® 61/IELTS ™ 6.0 / TOEIC ® 600;

b) To study master degree abroad, minimum score :
TOEFL ® iBT 79 / IELTS ™ 6.5 / TOEIC ® 750;

c) items a) and b) are excluded for those who completed higher education from countries :
United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. Duplicate certificate used instead of the TOEFL requirement, with a validity period of 2 (two) years since the certificate is issued;
d) To study master degree abroad in college academic non-English language of instruction, can adapt to the requirements of the applicable language skills (minimum competency requirements list foreign language other than English is attached);

6) has Received Letter (Letter of Acceptance) in college with the goal state without the requirement of (unconditional) (if any),
7) undocumented TPA / GRE / GMAT / LSAT (if any),
8) write a study plan based on the program of study at the master’s college destination.

b. For a doctoral scholarship applicants :
1) The maximum age of the applicant at the time of the closing of registration is 40 (forty) years;
2) have completed a study on the master program / master applied;
3) Have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a scale of 4 minimum, or GPA equivalent to other scales;
4) able to complete doctoral studies in accordance the applicable study period, a maximum of 4 (four) years;

5) official documents (ets.org or ielts.org) is still valid as proof of mastery of English or other foreign languages specified LPDP :
a) To study the doctoral program in the country, minimum score : TOEFL ITP ® 500/iBT ® 61/IELTS ™ 6.0 / TOEIC ® 600;
b) For doctoral study abroad program, a minimum score : TOEFL ® iBT 79 / IELTS ™ 6.5 / TOEIC ® 750;
c) items a) and b) are excluded for those who completed higher education from countries : United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. Duplicate certificate used instead of the TOEFL requirement, with a validity period of 2 (two) years since the certificate is issued;

8) write a summary of a research proposal based on the program of doctoral studies at college destination.

4. Component Financing :

To support the smooth running and success of advanced studies at master’s or doctoral degree programs in college destination, the Indonesian Scholarship recipients are awarded educational grants which includes the following parts.

1. Cost of Education :
a. Registration (at cost);
b. SPP, including non-language matriculation (at cost);
c. Non-SPP, which can be used for book allowance, thesis / dissertation, seminars, publications, graduation (packet, per year, accumulative).

Supporting Cost :
a. Departure and return transportation studies domicile of origin to destination college (one time, at cost),
b. Health insurance (packet),
c. Visa (at cost),
d. Monthly living / living allowance (packet),
e. Family benefits (packet),
f. Arrival / settlement allowance (packet),
g. Incentives college rankings featured LPDP eligible,
h. Emergencies / force majeure approved by LPDP.

Registration time :
BPI Registration for Master and Doctoral is open throughout the year, the selection process is performed by 4 (four) times, in March, June, September, and December.
