Day Care Services For Older Persons :

This service is intended to provide senior citizens that are 60 years or older with proper supervision from 8am to 5pm daily, Monday to Friday.

Eligibility :
Must be a Bahamian Citizen or permanent resident that is 60 years or older.

Process :
** The applicant visits the Senior Citizens Division requesting intervention from the Social Services Representative (SSR).
** The intake process and form are completed by SSR.
** A needs assessment and home investigation are arranged and completed.
** The SSR then makes a recommendation based on the findings.
** The applicant is informed of the recommendation made about whether or not they qualify for the service.
