Renew Trade Name :

Any reserved trade name is available for one month only, therefore the system enables users to renew their reserved trade names till they have their licenses issued.

If the user was not able to issue the license during the validity period, then the reserved trade name can be renewed through the e-services offered on DED site.

To renew a trade name:
** On Business Dashboard page, under My Transactions, click Renew Trade Name.
** In the Application Information section, type the number of the trade name to be renewed in the text box, and then click Renew. A table showing the trade name owner information appears including the renewal period.
** Click Confirm Trade Name Renewal complete the renewal request.

Reserve Trade Name:
Reserving a trade name is a core condition and pre-requisite for acquiring a license. The trade name is used in representing and the company name.

To reserve a trade name:
** On Business Dashboard page, under My Transactions, click Reserve Trade Name.
** If you want to apply for a branch license trade name,
** Select the Apply for branch license trade name check box.
** Type the number of the main license in the Existing Main License Nr. text box.
** Read the displayed Terms and Conditions of reserving a trade name, and then select the I accept all the above mentioned terms and conditions check box.
** Click Next.
** Under the Trade name owner information section, the system displays the details of the owner of the trade name same as mentioned during registration.
** In the Trade name details section,
** Type the Arabic trade name in the text box.
** Type the English trade name in the text box.
** In the Description of trade name’s business activities text box, type the trade name activities.
** In the Trade name characteristics section, select the feature relevant to the reserved trade name.
** Click Reserve Trade Name.

Transaction Status /Payment:
It is always possible for users to check the transaction status by selecting the transaction number, or the license number, or the acquired initial approval number.

To check the transaction status
** On Business Dashboard page, under My Transactions, click Transaction Status / Payments.
** Search for your transaction by using one of the following:
** Adding the number of the transaction that you want to check in the Transaction Nr. text box.
** Adding the number of the license that you want to check its status in the License Nr. text box.
** Adding the number of the initial approval acquired in the Initial Approval Nr. text box.
** Click Search.

A two-column table appears displaying the transaction and the license details.
