Shipping companies and marine crews working on Qatari ships may apply to authenticate their certificates at the Public Transport Department – Marine Crews Affairs department at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

Application Process:
Follow these steps to Apply for Qatari Original Certificate Authentication:
** Download and print out the application form or collect a form from the department premises.
** Fill in the form.
** Submit the application along with the required documents to the general office.
** Pay appropriate fees.
Required Documents:
Please submit the following documents along with the application:
** Valid efficiency certificate
** GMDSS Certificate
** Tanker Services Certificate
** Medical Fitness Certificate
** Marine service document/evidence
** Two (2) passport size personal photos
Fees: QR500.
