This licence would be granted to individuals and companies wishing to obtain licences for coastal fishing ships according to specific conditions.

Steps to follow to request the service:
A. Process Steps:
** Submit an application letter addressed to DG Fisheries Development.
** The application will be considered by the Coastal Fishing Ships Study Committee.
** The applicant will be informed about his application status.
** Fill in the Application Form.

B. List all forms/applications that need to be completed to apply for the service:
Application Form.

What documents are needed to process:
** Copy of the fishing licence (for individuals) .
** Copy of the Commercial Registration ( for companies)
** Copy of the National ID card (for individuals) .

Special conditions if any applicable:
The required documents must be attached to the Application Form.

How long will it take:
Three months

Fee to be paid:
Licence issue and renewal – for a ship with an engine of 50 horsepower (hp) and less RO 0.100 is to be added for every extra hp 15 R.O.
Delay Penalty – for every month a ship, with an engine of 50 hp and less, does not renew its licence 300 bz.
Agricultural and Fisheries Fund contribution – if the length of the fishing boat or ship less than 28 feet 3 R.O
Delay Penalty – for every month a ship, with an engine over 50 hp, does not renew its licence 1 R.O
Agricultural and Fisheries Fund contribution – if the length of the fishing boat or ship is more than 28 feet in length 6 R.O
