Who can request this service:
Any business or individual wishing to open a healthcare establishment

Steps to follow to request the service:
a- Process steps:
** Submit requests for authorization to open a private health institution to the Director of Public Service.
** Complete a Mobilization Application Form.
** When asked for a licence to open a private hospital submit a written speech shows the capacity of clinical and health services and human resources proposed for the hospital.
** Submit a copy of the Commercial Registration.
** Pay all fees upon approval of the request.
** Preview site proposed for private health institution.
** Submit the lease from the municipality.
** Reserve the name of the private health institution.
** Submit proof of commercial registration to the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
** Processing health institution according to the requirements of the Ministry of Health.
** Submit a request for final technical inspection.
** Receive operating licence of the health institution.

b- Forms and procedures to be updated to request service:
Application form for a license to open a health institution in particular.

What documents are needed to process:
** Copy of an ID card or passport (for Omanis)
** Copy of the passport for non-Omanis
** 2 Photographs
** Copy of the Commercial Registration

Special conditions if any applicable:
** Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
** No cheques will be accepted for payment of fees
** Commercial Registration Department of Commerce and Industry

How the service is processed:
Granted after payment of the prescribed fees,notified directly or through regular mail and telephone.

How long will it take:
Three days of the arrival of demand.

Clinic general Muscat Governorate. RO 250
Clinic general areas and other provinces. RO 150
Specialist clinic Muscat governorate. RO 300.
Clinic specialty areas and other provinces. RO 200.
Clinic work inherent to the medical profession Muscat governorate. RO 200
Duty lieutenant of the medical profession Muscat governorate. RO 200
Duty lieutenant areas of the medical profession and other governorates. RO 100
