Renewal of Port Compliance Certificate :

Generate a certificate of compliance for the Operators of the Omani Commercial Ports that deal with ships that applies to International treaties.

The operator Companies of commercial ports and their facilities

Steps to follow to request the service:
A- Process Steps:
The Company submits an application to the DG of Maritime Affairs- Dept of Navigation and Maritime Safety

B- List all forms/applications that need to be completed to apply for the service:
Application Form.

What documents are needed to process:
** A copy of the security assessment for the port/ facility
** A copy of the security plan for the port/ facility.

Special conditions if any applicable:
** The actual assessment should reflect the actual status of the Port.
** The procedures should implemented in accordance with the security plans.
** The equipment and apparatus that serve the port should be provided.
** The ISPS Code should be adhered to and complied with.

How the service is processed:
** A certificate will be issued after reviewing and studying the assessment and the security plan in addition to physically surveying the port/ facility.
** A report will be provided and the remarks should be handled, if any.
** The certificate will be handed over to the company representative or by mail.

How long will it take:
1-2 weeks
