Requests for leasing of lands Municipality :

Required Documents :
** Trade Registration if would-be tenant is a company.
** Proof of identification.

Procedures :
** Application is filed at CRO then referred to Investment Division in P&I Dept
** Application is reviewed and referred to the Director of P&I Dept.
** Application is verified then referred to the top administration (Assistant CS for Financial Affairs / CS / Mayor) for approval.
** Mayor signs his approval for having the application reviewed by the Properties Committee of a decision.
** Once a decision is reached, application is referred to the legal researcher in P&I Dept.
** Lease contract is concluded with the applicant and contract is referred to the accountant.
** Sums of money due under the contract are collected. Contract is referred to head of Properties and Investment division.
** Contract is verified and referred to the Mayor’s office.
** Contract is signed and referred to P&I Dept.
** Applicant receives copy of the contract.

One week.

Estimated Fee :
The amount of rent will depend on the location of the land, to which is added Three Thousandth (3/1000) of the rent as fees.

Location :
Citizens’ Referral Office (CRO) at Municipality headquarters.

Subdivision of land lying outside municipal zoning :
Required Documents :
** Up-to-date zoning site plan.
** Title of Registration.
** Up-to-date plat.

Procedures :
** Application is filed at CRO in the particular region, then referred to the Acquisition Dept.
** Once reviewed by the staff of the Acquisition Dept., application is referred to the divisions of Studies and Land Subdivision at the Zoning Dept.
** After review at Land Subdivision, application is referred to Zoning Section, Director of the Dept. then to the regional office.
** Site inspection is conducted to ensure that the land is free of any structures. Application is referred back to the Zoning Dept.
** Application is referred to the District Committee for a decision.
** Once approval is granted and all due fees and charges are collected, a letter is addressed to the Director of Land Registration at Lands and Survey Dept. for completing the process.

Connecting utilities to tenants leasing Municipality property :
Procedures :
** Application is filed at CRO then referred to the clerk of P&I Dept.
** An official letter requesting connection of utilities is issued and referred to the Director of the Dept.
** Letter is signed and referred to the Central Bureau Dept.
** Letter is assigned a numerical designation, and a copy of which is handed to applicant.
