This service is provided for individuals who are temporarily or permanently looking for a permit for gathering firewood inside Oman.

Steps to follow to request the service:
a. New permanent permits:
First stage: Submitting an Application
Applicant submits an application.
ID shall be attached.
Social status proof shall be submitted.
A letter of recommendation from the Wally or Sheikh.

Second Stage: Reviewing and auditing the application, and taking actions:
Reviewing the application and the data, a permit will be issued for firewood gathering. The period will be limited to six renewable months, and the quantity will not exceed 50 loads.
This process may take mostly one month.
The applicant will be approached by phone or he may appear in person.

b. Renewal of permanent permits:
First Stage: Submitting an application
The applicant submits a letter to the Director of the concerned entity.
A copy of the original permit shall be attached to the letter.
A copy of the ID shall be attached.

Second Stage: Issuing the new permit.
A renewed permit will issued, specifying the renewal number, and the period will be limited to six months and the quantity will not exceed 50 loads.
Renewal will take only one day.
The applicant will be approached by phone or he may appear in person.

c. Temporary permits:
First Stage: Submitting an application
The applicant submits a letter to the Director of the concerned entity specifying the reasons.
A copy of the ID shall be attached.

Second Stage: Issuing the temporary permit.
A one week period temporary permit will be issued.
