Eligibility Criteria : The scholarship is open for candidates on a competitive basis where:
** Applicants must not exceeding the age of 35 on the 31ST July 2015
** Participant should meet all the requirements of the scholarship; have English language proficiency with at least score of 6 at IELTS or TOEFL of 550; be in good health, both physically and mentally; Participants are NOT encouraged to bring along their spouses or families for the duration of the scholarship.
How to Apply :
** Participant should be nominated by Civil Service Bureau (for governmental employees) /or his/her organization.
** Interested applicants shall submit completed form together with supporting documents endorsed by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.
** Candidates must first apply for academic admission at an eligible Dutch institution. Admission as a PhD student is granted on an individual basis. A candidate can apply for a PhD fellowship only after a research proposal has been agreed between the candidate and the Dutch provider.
** The provider assesses the application and decides whether or not the applicant’s educational background and other experience meet the specific requirements for the programme in question. The provider then informs all applicants of its decisions. Successful candidates will receive a letter indicating that they have been (provisionally) admitted.
** After receiving their letter of admission, candidates can submit a digital Online (SOL) application tool or a paper application. Application (SOL) and all correspondence will be done by email, the new NFP procedure a complete application (including required
Required Documents :Each applicant must complete 3 (three) copies of the application form to be typed or written legibly in blue or black ink. The following documents should be submitted with the form:
** Three recent passport size photographs.
** Three certified copies of academic qualification
** Three copies of Applicant’s Statement of Purpose
** Three certified copies of Birth Certificate and passport
** Three copies of Security Vetting
** Certified English Translations of supporting documents (i.e. certificates, testimonials, transcripts) must be submitted for documents that are not in English
