Apply For Student Pilot Licence :

RENEWAL:
** Student pilot Licence are renewable. Upon expiration of a student pilot Licence the applicant may reapply for a new Licence.

The application process is the same as for the original issuance. The student pilot should keep the original Licence bearing any endorsements that remain valid. The holder of an expired Licence may be issued a new Licence only if that person meets the same requirements as for the
** Endorsement Space Full. If the allotted space for flightte as the original. The original will be issued to the student.

Process :
** Schedule Appointment. Inform applicants that they must bring acceptable identification to the appointment.
** Acceptable Methods of Identification.Acceptable methods of identification include, but are not
** Applicant Arrives for Appointment.
** Collect PELF 1.3.001A, Application For Licence/Rating/Authorization, and the applicant’s identification.
** Open CAA work tracking system.
** Aircraft Category.Determine which category of aircraft the applicant intends to fly.

Applicant Meets Requirements. :
** Prepare the Licence in duplicate
** Sign and have the applicant sign, in ink, both the original and the copy.
** Issue the original to the applicant.
** Inform the applicant that the authorization expires two years after the date it was issued, on the last day of the month.

FUTURE ACTIVITIES. :
** Applicant may be subject to an enforcement investigation if involved in an accident, incident, or possible violation of the Air Navigation Regulations.
** Upon expiration of an issued Student Pilot Licence, the applicant may reapply for a re-issuance.
** Applicant may return for private pilot licensing.

Flight Safety Division :
The Flight Safety Division manages the information that has been accumulated in the sphere of flight safety, it formulates trends and disseminates information to the relevant agencies.

The Main Issues In Management Of The Division :
** Establishment of Israel’s aviation safety plan (SSP-State Safety Plan) based on the principles outlined by the Director of the CAA and on the basis of information flowing in from the various bodies and agencies in the aviation sector.

** Management of the State Safety Aviation Plan information for receipt of reports of safety incidents, analysis of the information for trends and distributing it to the associated agencies and entities.

** Constitutes a point of contact with the Chief Investigator and with the Safety Officers in the various Organizations (Aviation Companies, CAA, The Air Force etc).

** Summarizing decisions of the Board of Management of the CAA in the safety sphere and monitoring handling of the Chief Investigator’s investigations approved by the Director of the CAA.

** Constitutes a point of contact with international safety agencies.
** Initiating and participating in the legislative processes and the various levels in the sphere of flight safety.
