Incentives of ship registration under Jordanian Flag :

** Ships flying the Jordanian Flag are not targeted by Port State Control system worldwide.

Required Documents for ship Registration under Jordanian Flag
** Original Deletion certificates from previous flag.
** Original Bill of sale or certificate of Vessel construction by the builder
** Valid transcript of registry by previous flag attesting free from all
** encumbrances, mortgages and maritime liens, leans – taxes & mortgage debts.
** Updated Inspection Reports issued by an authorized Class by the JMA.
** Jordan Telecommunication regulatory commission license for Radio
** Station and the call sign for the vessels.

Procedures for ship Registration under Jordanian Flag :
** Submit all required documents
** Designate ship registry number and issue Radiotelegraphy
** Certificate and call sign.
** Conduct flag survey or adopt a classification society ships’ condition report.(status report ).

Payment of registration fees :
** Issue of certificate of Registry within 2 Hours in case of completion of all required documents or issue of a provisional registration certificate for 3 months

Ship Registration Fees Under Jordanian Flag :
1. Registration of a ship for the first time or Re-Registry
** 100 JD

2. Registration of Cargo ship of age (10) years or less
** 0.5 JD for each net registered ton till 500 ton
** 0.25 JD for each net registered ton above 500 ton

3. Registration of Passenger Ship of age (10) years or less
** 1 JD for each net registered ton till 500 ton
** 0.5 JD for each net registered ton above 500 ton

4. Registration of Tanker (oil tanker or chemical tanker) ship of age (10) years or less
** 1 JD for each net registered ton till 500 ton
** 0.5 JD for each net registered ton above 500 ton

5. Registration of Cargo ship of age from 10 – 15 years
** 0.5 JD for each net registered ton till 500 ton
** 0.25 JD for each net registered ton above 500 ton
** Additional 25 JD per year of the ships age.

6. Registration of Passenger ship of age 10 – 15 years
** 1 JD for each net registered ton till 500 ton
** 0.5 JD for each net registered ton above 500 ton
** Additional 25 JD per year of the ships age.

7. Registration of Tanker (oil tanker or chemical tanker or gas carrier) ship of age 10 to 15 years
** 1 JD for each net registered ton till 500 ton
** 0.5 JD for each net registered ton above 500 ton
** Additional 25 JD per year of the ships age.

8. Registration of Cargo ship of age 15 – 20 years
** 0.5 JD for each net registered ton till 500 ton
** 0.25 JD for each net registered ton above 500 ton
** Additional 50 JD per year of the ships age.

Issuance of a replacement of certificate of registry :
** Issuance of a certified transcripts of certificate of registry
** Alteration on content of Registration certificate
** Registration of a small ship or boat of length between (10) to (24) meters
** Registration or deletion of registry of a pleasure boat or jet ski
** Registration or deletion of registry or release mortgage or alteration on certificate of registry of a glass boat or fishing boat less than 10 meters long
