Residence Permits For Third Country Nationals Trainees

Required Documents For The Issue Of Visa / Entry Permit For Unpaid Training:
(a) Duly certified copy of passport or other travel document, with a validity of
(i) at least the expected duration of the program or

(ii) after two years. The shortest period of validity of any of the above mentioned

(b) Duly certified original criminal record issued by the relevant authorities of the country of residence officially translation in Greek or English.

(c) Duly certified original medical examinations for Hepatitis B and C, AIDS/HIV, Syphilis and report of chest X-ray for Tuberculosis from country of origin with validity of four months.

(d) Duly stamped copy (by the Labour Office) of the Contract of Training (for the position of a Trainee to a public/private Business/Organization)

(e) Duly certified bank certificate from a Banking Institution of the country of residence, confirming that the applicant have the financial ability to cover his living, training and re-patriation expenses.

(f) Personal bank guarantee for you re-patriation expenses or bank guarantee by the public/private Business Organization for re-patriation expenses.

(g) Receipt of payment of €85.43 for application fees.

(h) Application Form M58 thoroughly completed and signed

Required Documents For The Issue Of Residence Permit, Within A Period Of 10 Days From The Date Of Entry Into The Republic Or Its Renewal:
(a) Duly certified copy of valid passport or other travel document, with a validity of:
(i) at least the expected duration of the program or
(ii) after two years. The shortest period of validity of any of the above mentioned.

(b) Comprehensive medical insurance in the Republic

(c) Original examinations for Hepatitis B and C, AIDS/HIV, Syphilis and report of chest X-ray for Tuberculosis from Cyprus stamped and signed by government doctor with validity of four months.

(d) Confirmation from a Banking Institution in the Republic that the applicant have transferred sufficient funds to his personal account to cover living, accommodation and re-patriation and re-patriation expenses during his stay in the Republic.

(e) Two Passport-sized photographs

(f) Receipt of payment of €34.17 for application fees

(g) Application Form M61 thoroughly completed and signed

About Us :
The Civil Registry and Migration Department (hereinafter “CRMD” or “the Department”) is the result of the consolidation of the Migration, Registration and Election Services, which were part of the Ministry of Interior [Amendment of the Civil Service (General) Regulations, Κ.Δ.Π. 921/2003].

Originally the CRMD was mainly responsible for the civil registry issues, whereas migration issues were of a smaller volume and importance.
