Residence Permits For Third Country Nationals Pupils :

Required Documents For The Issue Of Visa / Entry Permit/Residence Permit For Attending Secondary Education Program Of Exchange Of Pupils:
(a) Duly certified copy of passport or other travel document, with a validity of:
(i) at least the expected duration of the program or
(ii) after two years

The shortest period of validity of any of the above mentioned

(b) If the applicant is a minor, duly stamped parental agreement for his stay in the Republic officially translated in Greek or English.

(c) Duly certified original medical examinations for Hepatitis B and C, AIDS/HIV, Syphilis and report of chest X-ray for Tuberculosis from country of origin with validity of four months.

(d) Certificate of acceptance by a Secondary Education Institution

(e) Confirmation of attendance in a recognized program of exchange of pupils offered by an Organization (which is recognized in the Republic), describing the nature of the program and its duration.

(f) Proof that the Organization will bear responsibility for their living, studying, medical and re-patriation expenses during their stay in the Republic.

(g) Confirmation by the family which will provide them with accommodation during their stay in the Republic stating that they can provide them with a proper place of stay.

(h) Receipt of payment of €85.43 for application fees.

(i) Application Form M58 thoroughly completed and signed

Required Documents For The Issue Of Residence Permit, Within A Period Of 10 Days From The Date Of Entry Into The Republic:
(a) Duly certified copy of passport or other travel document, with a validity of:
(i) at least the expected duration of the program or
(ii) after two years

The shortest period of validity of any of the above mentioned.

(b) Original medical examinations for Hepatitis B and C, AIDS/HIV, Syphilis and report of chest X-ray for Tuberculosis from Cyprus stamped and signed by government doctor with validity of four months.

(c) Two Passport-sized photographs

(d) Receipt of payment of €34.17 for application fees

(e) Application Form M61 thoroughly completed and signed

The Civil Registry and Migration Department (hereinafter “CRMD” or “the Department”) is the result of the consolidation of the Migration, Registration and Election Services, which were part of the Ministry of Interior [Amendment of the Civil Service (General) Regulations, Κ.Δ.Π. 921/2003].

Originally the CRMD was mainly responsible for the civil registry issues, whereas migration issues were of a smaller volume and importance.
