Phone Banking:
Bank of Beirut Phone Banking Service is an automated and interactive service serving customers regardless of holidays and weekends, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It provides the following functionalities

Automated services through Bank of Beirut Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) 24/7 in three languages: Arabic, English and French.

Public Services:
** Agent Transfer – to talk to a direct customer service representative
** Fax sending
** Information on currencies exchange rates and stocks values
** Branches and ATM addresses
** Branches opening hours
** Western Union services

Services for subscribers which require authentication (Account ID + PIN code):

How can I receive a checkbook?
You can request a checkbook :
** Via your Online Banking user,
** Via your Mobile Banking user,
** Via IVR – Phone Banking,
** At one of our 65 branches.

Can I receive an SMS informing me that my salary has been deposited into my account, upon salary domiciliation?
You may request this service from your Personal Banking Representative (PBR) or one of our Contact Center agents, for a monthly fee of LBP 1,500.

What is the required process in order to access my Phone Banking / IVR?
To access your phone banking, you can dial 1262 if you are residing in Lebanon, or +961 5 955 262 if you are residing outside Lebanon, and choose your preferred language (Arabic, English or French).

Then you proceed to access your account’s menu by pressing “2”, and consequently enter the below information :
** Your account number (6 digits)
** Your personal ID (6 digits)
** Your IVR PIN code (4 digits)
** Your mobile number (in case you are dialing from a phone number different from the one registered in our system)

Can I deactivate the SMS service?
For security reasons, the SMS service cannot be deactivated, unless you officially sign a request on your full responsibility at your branch, as per Banque du Liban requirements.

How do I activate the SMS service?
It is automatically activated within 24 hours of receiving your card. In case you face any inconvenience, do not hesitate to reach out to our Contact Center, by calling 1262 if you are a Lebanese resident and +961 5 955 262 if you live abroad.
