Mobile Cash :

QNB Mobile Cash is a service that allows QNB customers to pay and withdraw cash (in multiples of QR50) at any QNB ATM.

The service offers customers a new way for cash payments and withdrawal. It is:
Quick – via SMS on mobile phones which can be done in seconds
Free – at no cost to both payer and payee
Non restrictive – payee can be anyone in Qatar with a valid mobile number

Simply send an SMS to 92111 in the following format: cash <recipient mobile number> <amount>

Example: Cash 12345678 50

Once the request is sent, you will be asked to confirm by replying with OK. Upon confirmation the payee receives an SMS with a voucher number to use at any ATM for cash withdrawal.

Please note that a daily limit of 5 transactions and a maximum of QAR 2, 000 apply.

Before you use QNB Mobile Cash, you need to be registered in both SMS service and Pay service

To register to SMS service:
You can submit your mobile number via QNB’s internet banking service (under SMS service menu) or by calling QNB’s Customer Care Centre on 44407777.

To register to pay service:
Please call the Customer Care Centre to get an introduction to the service terms and conditions. Then SMS the word Agree to 92111 to complete your registration.

FAQs :
Is my QNB debit card on OTP as well?
For the moment, your QNB debit card cannot be used to purchase online.
What happens to the transaction if the merchant is not 3D Secure certified ?
If the merchant is not 3D Secure certified, then an OTP will not be required to complete the purchase.

How do I know which mobile number the OTP was sent to?
** For security reasons QNB will not display the full mobile number to which the OTP has been sent to. However you will see the country code and first 4 digits from your mobile number.

** You can change your mobile numbers for your primary and supplementary cards to receive the OTP by calling our Customer Care Center or visiting any QNB branch.

What happens if I do not receive the OTP?
You can click the ‘Resend’ button from the authentication page and the OTP SMS will be sent again to your registered mobile number. You can use the Resend option a maximum of 10 times, with 30 seconds between each try.

Can I use my supplementary credit cards with the OTP service?
** All your credit cards (primary and supplementary) are working with OTP.
** For supplementary cards you can assign a separate mobile number to receive the OTP by calling our Customer Care Center or visiting any QNB branch.
