Lost or Damaged Residency Replacement :

Through this service, residents can request the issuance of a replacement for their lost or damaged residency visa.

Process description:
Please follow the steps below:
** Fill in the application form and pay the fees at any typing centre.
** Submit the printed application along with the required documents at the Residency Department.
** Receive the residency permit by Empost or immediately in case of submitting the urgent application.

** Residency visa application Original
** Signed by the sponsor
** Passport of the sponsored Original + Copy
** Fitness certificate (in case the residency is for less than six months) Original
** Insurance card or the original receipt for the health insurance subscription Copy
** Emirates ID card or the registration receipt Copy
** Report from the Information and Follow-up Section for the absence of criminal purposes Original
** Empost sticker or fully paid urgent application Original

Please visit the Departments section of the Gateway to find a list of all government entities with general contact information and a search function. Specific contact information related to services (extension numbers, service counters etc.) is provided on the services pages.

Do I have to sign out of My Abu Dhabi?
Your session on My Abu Dhabi will expire automatically after 20 minutes and you will have to sign in again. However, to ensure the security of your personal data, you should log out after each session, especially if you are using a public computer.

If you do not sign out but only close your internet browser, your session may still be available or cached if the browser is re-opened shortly after.
