Sharjah Residency Permit Issuance for Workers Expatriates
Requirements:
** Original Residency Application form signed by the sponsor
** Original passport of the sponsored

** Original entry permit
** Copy of the previous residency for the sponsored
** Original medical Fitness Certificate
** Copy of health insurance card or the original subscription certificate in case there is no card
** Copy of labor contract signed by both the sponsor and the sponsored and certified by the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs
** Copy of authenticated rental contract
** Original latest SEWA bill
** Financial guarantee With a value of the worker’s monthly salary for a period of 12 months, provided that the salary is not less than 400 AED for all nationalities and 600 AED for the Indonesian nationality
** Copy of Emirates ID card
** Empost sticker or fully paid urgent application
Application Process
** Fill in the application form at any typing center
** The required documents should be submitted along with the application form to the Residency section
** Receive the residency permit by Empost or immediately in case of submitting the urgent application

** AED 100 for residency issuance
** AED 100 extra fee for urgent application

3. Activation of Residency Visa for those Staying Outside UAE for More than Six Months for Expatriates :
Requirements :
** Original Residency Activation form for a sponsored staying outside UAE for more than six months Signed by the section head or his representative
** Document indicating the reasons for exceeding the legal period outside UAE
** Original document indicating the port of entry
** Copy of Emirates ID card
** Original To Whom it may Concern Certificate stating that the sponsor still working with the same employer

** Receive the residency permit by Empost or immediately in case of submitting the urgent application
About Us
The Emirate of Sharjah is located at a longitude of 55 degrees and 25 East, and a latitude of 25 degrees and 22 North. Sharjah is the oldest Emirate on the coast of Oman, and lies in the centre of other emirates, spread over an area of 2600 sq. km, occupying 3.3% of the total area of the United Arab Emirates (not counting the islands).
