MBA Scholarship:

The AIPM is seeking expressions of interest from eligible applicants for a Masters of Business Administration (Law Enforcement and Security), Charles Sturt University.

Scholarship valued – $25,000.

The MBA is a 3 year part-time course, encompassing core business subjects and a third year of specialisms in executive leadership and management in law enforcement. And is offered for a program of study commencing in July 2014.

Eligibility:
In order to be eligible you must be a current or former AIPM student of the sworn rank of Inspector or above and unsworn equivalent, from a law enforcement and security agency in Australia or New Zealand.

Application process:

Applicants are required to submit a 2000 word concept paper about a business idea for law enforcement. The paper should demonstrate a high level of business acuity and the potential to make a significant contribution to the business of law enforcement. The papers will be marked and graded. Papers receiving a mark within the range of ‘Distinction to High Distinction’ will be forwarded to the AIPM Board of Studies for its consideration and selection of the successful applicant.

Ultimate selection of the successful candidate will be determined on the basis of the idea which has the greatest relevance and likely impact on the business of law enforcement.
