Renewal of Identity Card in Case of Change of Date of Birth:

Change of first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, number of civil status act, and affiliation; national identity card must be renewed by holder.

Such renewal is carried out upon submission of the card held by the applicant, all administrative and legal documents attesting the validity of modifications, andresidence certificate issued by the competent territorial jurisdiction of the national security or the Royal Mounted Police or by the local administrative authorities (Consular registration certificate for Moroccan nationals abroad).

** Electronic national identity card held by the applicant;
** Consular registration certificate, providing the address of the applicant;
** Full copy of birth extract of the applicant, where date of birth change is mentioned; or a court decision adjudging change;
** Two recent passport photographs of the front, color, on a light background, size 3.5 cm time 4.5 cm, uncovered face, and without dark glasses

Fees: 75 Dhs

The Consular Diplomatic Missions and Consular Centers of Morocco abroad (department in charge of the electronic national identity card), in return of dated receipt.
