Permit of Stores Use & Customs Clearance Areas :

Stores and clearance areas (MEAD) are spaces where goods for customs clearance may be stored for clearance either imported or exported.

These MEAD are subject to permanent control of the Administration of Customs and IndirectTaxes and can be created both inside and outside the port or airport. To obtain authorization to use the stores and MEAD please follow the procedure below.

Stores and clearance areas (MEAD) are spaces where goods may be stored conducted in customs for clearance either import or export.

These MEAD are subject to permanent control of the Customs and Excise can be created both inside and outside the port or airport. To obtain authorization and store operations and MEAD please follow the procedure below.

Applicant:
Natural or legal person or representative

Required documents:
** Application for authorization;
** Plan stating the location and characteristics of the place to be built in stores and area clearance, duly stamped by an architect;
** Submitting a general bonded submission (CMS);
** Amendment of the insurance contract in favor of the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes
** Certificate of ownership of the premises or lease contract.

** Service of Procedures and Methods

Processing time: 15 maximum

** Application; copy of company statute;
** Copy of commercial register;
** Primary agreement of tutor department ( health or agriculture)

Fees – Three DHS per hectolitre of of alcohol, as monitoring costs

Place of issue – District Administration of Customs
Processing time – Same day
