Apply For Diplomatic Permits :

This Permit is issued to career diplomat or consular officer of a foreign government recognised by the Government, or a representative of a prescribed international organisation which is accepted by the Minister responsible for Foreign Affairs; other officials or employees of a foreign government or international organisation.

A member of the immediate family of the above mentioned and on reciprocity basis, attendants, servants and personal employees of the dignitaries.

Applying for Diplomatic Permit:
** Application Form (Form 12)
** Two recent passport size photographs;
** Certified Photocopies of current passport;
** Letter from the Ministry of foreign Affairs; and
** Certified photocopies of Diplomatic Cards

Asylum Seeker’s Permit :
This Permit is issued to a person seeking asylum in Zambia and is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue

Transit Permits :
This Permit is issued to foreigners who being in transit exhaust the ninety (90) days Transit period.

Applying for Transit Permit :
Required Documents for Issuance :
** Covering letter to the Director General of Immigration by host or company
** Two(2) recent passport size photo
** Photocopy of valid passport
** Payment of a prescribed fee

Required Documents for Renewal/Extension :
** Duly completed Form 11
** Covering letter by host or company addressed to the Director General of Immigration
** Certified copy of new passport
** Original Permit
** Prescribed Fee
