Banking through your mobile phone – is the service AB Bank provides its customers through AB SMS Banking. Customers can do day to day banking activities on their mobile at their convenient time 24 hours a day by sending required SMS instruction to 16207 number.

2.Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
3.Customers can do:
** Regular banking activities e.g. balance enquiry, an generate mini statement, check linked accounts, transfer funds between own accounts
** Pay utilility bills. At present, Dhaka WASA bills are accepted.
** Pay mobile phone bills for post-paid connections and Top up / recharge pre-paid mobile phone balance
How to register for AB SMS Banking?:
For registration, customers must be an AB Bank account holder. A customer can contact Account Opening Desk of any AB Bank Branches and fill out a form to register for the service.

For Mobile Phone Bill Payment / Balance Recharge:
Pre-paid Account Recharge (Self, which has been registered with AB SMS Banking):
Customer can recharge the pre-paid account simply by typing
TOP PIN Amount | e.g. TOP 1234 50 | send the SMS to 16207
Here:
** TOP is the service code for prepaid top-up
** 1234 is the PIN (Personal Identification Number)
** 50 is the amount to be recharged
** 16207 is the designated short code for AB Bank
Pre-paid Account Recharge (Other Mobile Number):
Customer can also recharge others mobile number by typing
TOP PIN Amount MobileNumber | TOP 1234 50 01199999999 | send the SMS to 16207
Here:
** TOP is the service code for prepaid top-up
** 1234 is the PIN (Personal Identification Number)
** 50 is the amount to be recharged
** MobileNumber is the other mobile number

Post-paid bill Payment (Self, which has been registered with AB SMS Banking):

Post-paid bill Payment (Other Mobile Number):
Customer can also pay your others post-paid mobile phone bill by typing

Subscriber may limit the number of Debit and/or Credit Transaction Alerts
PIN = Personal Identification Number (4 digits confidential password reset by you)
1 Minimum amount is 10 Tk. And Maximum is 1000 Tk. per top-up.
2 Time duration between 2 top-up is minimum 10 minutes.
3 Post-paid bill payment is not supported by Teletalk.
