Open a PrePay Toll Account :

For frequent users of the toll road, we recommend that you set up a Prepay Toll Account.

This is similar to a prepaid mobile phone account; all you need to do is maintain a credit balance on your account and we’ll take care of the rest.

To set up a Prepay Toll Account you will need to provide the following details:
** Your name and contact information
** Your address
** The registration plate number(s) of the vehicle(s) you want linked to the account
** A payment method to pay the initial set up amount and to automatically top up your account when a low balance is reached. You can pay using either direct debit from your bank account using this direct debit form (PDF, 42KB) or by credit card (Visa or Mastercard).

Note:
If you wish to pay by direct debit you must ensure that your bank account name and Prepay Toll Account name are the same.

The initial setup amount for a Prepay Toll Account is made up of the Top up Threshold (minimum $10) plus the regular Top up Amount (minimum $10).

To create an account you will be required to make an initial payment of $20.00. As tolls are deducted from this and your account balance reaches $10.00, your account will automatically be topped-up by $10.00 as a debit against your credit card or bank account. If you have more than one vehicle in your account, or you anticipate using the road frequently, you may increase these values if you wish.

When opening an account any unpaid tolls greater than 5 days old WILL NOT be deducted from your account. Payment will need to be made separately by calling our Contact Centre on 0800 40 20 20.

If you decide to close your account, all funds in the account will be refunded. Once the initial set up amount is received your account is ready to use.

As an account holder you will have free access to all your account and transaction information via this website.

Please ensure that you have read and understood the customer agreement before you begin.

Activating your Account :

We’ll activate your Account when:
a) you’ve provided all the information we require and we’ve approved your application (which may require a satisfactory credit check); and
b) we’ve approved your preferred means of payment and Notified you of the Calculated Minimum Amount, the Account Set-Up Amount, the Top-Up Threshold, and
c) you’ve paid the Account Set-Up Amount (if any).

You can pay the Account Set-Up Amount:
a) from your Nominated Credit Card, at the time you apply; or
b) by direct debit from your Nominated Bank Account, once you’ve supplied a signed authority and we’ve loaded the facility; or
c) by any other means that we agree to.

We’ll Notify you when we have activated your Account.

We reserve the right to approve or reject your application, but will Notify you of the reasons for any decision to reject.

Nominated vehicles:
You can use your Account to pay for Tolls in respect of any vehicle you nominate.
You don’t have to be the registered person of a Nominated Vehicle. But if the registered person is someone else, you need to get that person’s authority to pay Tolls on his or her behalf in respect of that vehicle. Your nomination of a vehicle signifies to us that you have:
a) obtained that authority; and
b) explained to the registered person, and any other person likely to drive the vehicle on the Toll Road, what the legal consequences could be for them if Tolls incurred in respect of the vehicle aren’t paid from your Account
