Note:
The information provided on the status of your driver’s licence is only current as at the time and date of the response. Even though our records may indicate that your drivers licence is valid, there may be outstanding or current sanctions against your licence applied by the Department of the Attorney General which may render your licence invalid.

In addition to this enquiry you should also perform a further verification on the Department of the Attorney General’s website: Search licence suspensions (unpaid fines) online (see link below).

A Learner’s Permit is not a valid licence and its details will not be displayed.

Demerit point check online:
Demerit points are issued by the WA Police or an authorised officer for motoring offences. The points can vary anywhere from one to six points depending on the type of offence, except during long weekends and holiday seasons when the allocated demerit points for the offence will be double.

1. You may wish to check the status of your driver’s or vehicle licences before proceeding because your subscription request will be recorded however you will not receive a Licence Alert if:
you are not the holder of an active Western Australian driver’s licence or current vehicle licence; or
vehicle (or trade plate/s) licenced in a Company/Organisation name; or
vehicle licence is seasonal.

2. The Licence Alert service is currently unavailable to fleets. The subscription limit is 1 driver and 10 vehicle licences per client.

  1. My licence is due to expire 4th December and I have not yet received confirmation of its renewal. Reports from both my GP and my Eye Specialist were forwarded on 22nd November.

  2. I have not received my renewed driver’s licence yet. My licence will expire on 12th October. My doctor signed and returned the form about 3 weeks ago. Are there any problems?

    I await your response to your letter dated 20th February to which I completed the Fitness to Drive Declaration and returned the completed document on 24 February 2018. My concern is that, I will be overseas from 13th May 2018 and return on 8th June 2018. Your assistance would be appreciated. My License Number is 1119104.
