Steps:
Step-1 : Go to our tracking tool https://nzcouriers.co.nz/tools/track-a-parcel/
Step-2 : Locate the type of ticket you have from the options on screen, then enter the ticket details into the relevant fields. eg. for Courier tickets / Packs enter the product code (the 2-4 digit code highlighted in yellow in the image) and ticket number (the 8 digit number code highlighted in red).
Step-3 : If you are unsure which ticket type you have or which code to enter, example tickets are shown on the main tracking page which can be enlarged for a better view.
Step-4 : Click Track my item

Select the item you wish to track from the options below:
Courier tickets / packs:
Track your item using your ticket’s product code and number. To search for your item, enter the code and number from your ticket (eg: LH1602541) and then click ‘Track my item’.

Customer Printed Labels (incl. Despatch IT Labels):
Track your item using your account and consignment numbers To search for your item, enter the account and consignment numbers from your ticket (eg:9999999 and 1234567890) and then click ‘Track my item’.

Charge Labels:
Track your item using its label number. To search for your item, enter the numbers from your ticket (eg: 03258847) and then click ‘Track my item’.

International Consignment:
Track your item using its international consignment number. To search for your item, enter the numbers from your ticket (eg: 521440236) and then click ‘Track my item’.

Contract Bags:
Track your item using your contract bag’s serial number and dates

Bar Code:
Track your item using the numbers below its bar code

Manifest Reference:
Track your item using the manifest item number, reference and dates

Tracking Status Meaning

** Pickup scan shows the time and date that your parcel was collected
** Status scan indicates what stage of the delivery journey your parcel is at
** On Board scan shows the time and date your parcel was scanned on to the delivery drivers vehicle
** Delivery scan shows the time and date delivery was made (once the parcel has been delivered)

More information is provided in the Detail section. This includes:
** The location of your parcel each time it is scanned
** The identification number of the courier who scanned it (e.g. Courier 073)
** The home branch of the courier (the area where the scan was made)
** The signature of the person who signed for the delivery (once delivery is made and if the parcel was signature required)

FAQ On New Zealand Couriers Tracking

What actions can be taken on the tracking page?
** Print page: print a copy of the page for your records
** Email results link: automatically generate an email with the results to send to clients / customers
** Track another parcel
** Lodge a query – if you have a question about what’s happening with the delivery, click on the Lodge Customer Services Query button, fill in the details and this will be sent straight through to our Customer Services team to investigate and respond to. Find out more about lodging a query.

In what situations do deliveries get a signature as Proof of Delivery?
Signatures are obtained for deliveries to:
** business addresses
** residential addresses

Signatures are NOT obtained for deliveries to:
** rural deliveries.

I prefer contact-less deliveries. Can I receive parcels to a business address without signing for them?
At the time of delivery, you can mention this to our courier. The courier will maintain a distance, ask for your name, and enter this information into the scanner (this will show in the tracking information). If you have the opportunity to leave delivery instructions while the parcel is in transit, or have an Authority to Leave delivery tag at a location, your parcel can be left without the need to sign for it.

Will I know if signature protocols change in the future?
We will do our best to update you if we are planning to change. However, should there be material changes in the community i.e. sickness variants that hold additional threat; significantly increasing infection rates in the population; changes in the understanding of risk factors to the public or our people, New Zealand Couriers does reserve the right to change what type of deliveries obtain signatures with immediate effect.
