Step-1 : Go to the link https://police.gov.ag/certificate-online-request/
Step-2 : Enter your Personal Details and
Step-3 : Upload Passport Photo and Bio page of passport
Step-4 : Click On “Submit Form” button

Requirements of Police Certificate of Character

Persons residing in Antigua and Barbuda will be required to have:
** A valid passport. In the absence of a passport, a valid birth certificate with a valid photo ID
** ECD $25.00 in cash

Persons residing overseas will be required to:
** Write a letter addressed to the Office of the Commissioner of Police requesting the certificate. The letter should include your last address and the length of time you resided in the country.
** You should also state the purpose for which you wish to obtain the certificate and whether or not you will have someone on island assisting by acting on your behalf.
** A copy of the Bio-page of the valid passport.
** Two recent passport size photos
** Ten fingerprints
** ECD$25.00 or US$10.00.

Please note: If you are acting on behalf of someone residing overseas you Must present a Valid photo ID.

Certificates take 24 hrs. to process
Issuing hours: – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

NB: If making request through Commissioner’s office, please ensure the return postage or prepaid return receipt is included.

Reasons you may want/have to apply for a police report;
** Lost or stolen documents
** Burglary where items were stolen
** Fires – where homes or businesses were destroyed

Perons applying for a police report should:
** First make a report to the nearest police station or the Criminal Investigation Department.
** Make a written application to the Commissioner of Police.

Cost:
** Police reports costs $100.00 ECD. The process usually takes up to one week however it can take longer depending on the type of investigation that is taking place

Traffic Police Reports:

** Date of Accident
** Location of Accident
** Vehicle Numbers
** Name of Investigating Officer ( If they can remember)
** Cost $200.00 ECD

Note:
The Insurance or Person involved in the accident has to request the report in Writing.

Lost Vehicle Registration Plate Requirements:
** Make a Report at any Police Station or Police Headquarters( Guard Desk)
** Valid Vehicle Information Card ( Yellow Card)
** Valid Insurance Information
