Action:
1.Select Filing under eServices on the left hand side of the navigation panel.
2.You will be directed to the online filing page. There are 5 steps to eFiling.

Step 1:
1.Select the form type that you would like to submit and the Year of Assessment.
2.Click Next.
Step 2:
1.Select Option 1 if you are completing a new form for the selected year of assessment.
2.Select Option 2 if you have saved a draft of the form previously and would now like to continue completing the form.
3.Select Option 3 if you have downloaded and completed the form offline and would now like upload and submit it in STARS.
4.Click Next.
Note:
For illustrative purposes, we have selected Option 1.
Step 3:
1. Complete the Form. *Note that you can download the form to complete it offline.
2. You can click on the Highlight Existing Fields button. This will highlight all fields which you are required to complete.
3. To save a blank form to your local machine, click on Save icon on the toolbar.
4. To save a copy of the form in STARS to work on at a later time, click on button at the bottom of the form.
5. Once you have completed the Income Tax Form, click on the printer icon or button to print out a copy for record purposes.
6. Click Next.
Step 4:
1.Click Add new record button on the bottom left corner of the table.
2. Click on Select button to add supporting documentation.
3. A small pop up window will appear where you will be able to browse your machine for supporting documentation.
4. Click Insert to add the selected document. Under Attachment type, select the type of document you are attaching from the drop down list provided.
5. To add more supporting documentation, click on Add new record and repeat the above steps.
6. Click Next.
Step 5:
1. Prior to submitting the Income Tax Form, you are required to verify that you:
** Are submitting a return for the correct company
** Have provided all the necessary supporting documents required for Income Tax filing
2. If you have missed out any supporting documents, you can go back to step 4 and add a new attachment.
3. Click Submit.
Action:
1. A declaration notice will pop-up upon clicking the submit button.
2. Read the declaration thoroughly before clicking OK.
3. Click Ok.
4. You have successfully submitted your Income Tax Return and have been issued a Return ID. Note that Payment Reference Number refers to your Return ID. It is important to take note of this number for payment or inquiry purposes.
5. If you want to pay for your Income Tax Return later, select Pay Later. You will then be directed back to the STARS Homepage. If you want to pay for your Income Tax Return now, select Pay Now. Step by step instructions will be displayed
6. To proceed with making payment, select one of the preferred internet banking services provided.
7. Login to your internet banking account with your internet banking user ID and password.
8. In the internet banking page, input:
** Payee Name
** Payment Reference No.
** Tax Liability Amount
9. Once successful payment has been made, you will receive a unique internet banking transaction number.
10. To complete the payment process, the internet banking reference number should be entered into the Transaction Number field provided.
11. Click Print to save a copy of your Return ID and transaction number.
12. Click Ok
View Filing Status:
Action:
1.Click on eServices on the left hand side menu of STARS homepage.
2.Select Filing Status.
3.Filing status records will be available for viewing.
Types of Return Status:
1.Unassessed – indicates that a return has been submitted but has not been assessed yet.
2.Assessed – indicates that the return has already been assessed.
3.Reassessed – indicates that an Income Tax form is being amended by Revenue Division.
4.Pending Verification – indicates that a form was submitted over the counter and is pending verification from an officer.
