Visa Information :

Visa for Foreign Nationals:
** Foreign national is required to apply and obtain visa in advance at the Myanmar Foreign Missions before entering the country.

** Foreign national who apply for visa must possess a valid national passport or Travel Document valid for travel to Myanmar. The validity of passport and Travel Document shall be at least six months from the date of entry into Myanmar.
** Children over seven years of age require a separate visa even if traveling on their parents’ passports.
** Visa Application Forms are obtainable at the Embassy’s visa section free of charge.

Tourist Visa:
** Tourist visa is divided into two categories: Foreign Independent Travelers (F.I.T) and Package Tour Groups.
** Maximum duration of stay in Myanmar is four weeks.
** Tourist visa is valid for three month from the date of issued.
** Visa fee is Kuwait Dinar 6/- per person.
** Tourists may only stay in hotels and guesthouses during their visit in Myanmar.

Documents Required for Tourist Visa:
** Two copies of Tourist Visa Application Forms dully filled by applicant
** Three colour photos (size 35mm x 45mm) of applicant taken recently, two to be pasted on Visa Application Forms and one to be pasted on Report of Arrival
** Package Tour Groups or EVT (Package tour) visa applicants are required a confirmation letter from their respective land operator in Myanmar stating the names and passport nos. of the tour members. The confirmation letter should be confirmed by the land operator in Myanmar directly to the Embassy by fax or e-mail. Land operator must be a registered company under Myanmar Company Act.

Business Visa (Single Entry):
** Maximum duration of stay in Myanmar is ten weeks. It can be extended in Myanmar.
** Business visa is valid for three months from the date of issued.
** Visa fee is Kuwait Dinar 12/- per person.

Documents Required for Business Visa:
** Two copies of Business Visa Application Forms dully filled by applicant
** Three colour photos (size 35mm x 45mm) of applicant taken recently, two to be pasted on Visa Application Forms and one to be pasted on Report of Arrival
** A sponsorship letter stating the purpose of entry to Myanmar from the respective company or organization registered in Kuwait.
** Civil ID card issued by the Kuwait Government (in case of foreign national who is residing in Kuwait)

Business Visa (Multiple Journey Entry):
** Companies with established long-term ongoing business in Myanmar may apply for a Multiple Journey Entry visa for their personnel, valid for a period of 12 months for as many entries as necessary.
** Validity varies from minimum (6) month to maximum (1) year from date of issue. Multiple Journey Entry Visa is considered case by case basis.
** Period of stay in Myanmar restricted to ten weeks from date of arrival. It can be extended.
** Visa fee is Kuwait Dinar 54/- for 12 months.

Requirements:
** Two copies of Business Visa Application Forms dully filled by applicant
** Three colour photos (size 35mm x 45mm) of applicant taken recently, two to be pasted on Visa Application Forms and one to be pasted on Report of Arrival
** A sponsorship letter stating the business profile in brief of the respective company or organization registered in Kuwait as well as business activities with counterpart company in Myanmar.

Entry Visa Information:
** Entry visa is issued to the person who wants to go for meditation in Myanmar.
** It is also issued to the person who is spouse of Kuwait citizen and ex-Myanmar citizen.
** Maximum duration of stay in Myanmar is four weeks. It can be extended in Myanmar.
** Entry visa is valid for three months from the date of issued.
** Visa fee is Kuwaiti Dinar 6/- per person.

Requirements:
** Two Entry Visa Application Forms and one Report of Arrival Forms dully filled by applicant.
** Three colour photos (size 35mm x 45mm) of applicant taken recently, two to be pasted on Visa Application Forms and one to be pasted on Report of Arrival.
** Invitation letter from respective meditation centre in Myanmar (for those who want to go for meditation in Myanmar)
